We have been working with writer/director Vincent Pereira on a comic book adaptation of his 1997 film, A Better Place. Here is a mock up of a comic cover, directly influenced by the film poster.
We believe the adaptation will take 7 issues to complete. However it may be more depending on how deep we go into the story. This is not going to be a direct, scene for scene, copy of the film. I am working closely with Vincent to bring to life an adaptation that brings some of the scenes he originally envisioned when he wrote the script. Scenes that had to be altered or cut for practicality during filming. The new adaptation will utilize these scenes and new fresh content to have a greater emotional impact on the reader.
